Present in the fields of Hospitality with 105 sites operated, industrial activities with the manufacturing of wood and canvas accommodation, and in digital, the Huttopia group generated a turnover of €140 million in 2022 with more than 700 permanent employees and more than 1700 people in the summer.

Your missions


  • Actively seek and secure new group business for Huttopia Paradise Springs, and our other California properties
  • Identify customer needs by responding to information requests via phone or email.
  • Advise customers on our packages and offers.
  • Handle reservations for stays using our reservation software.
  • Develop and optimize sales.
  • Handle incoming group inquiries.
  • Create and send group quotes, and follow up with potential clients.
  • Cultivate and nurture long-term business relationships with clients, fostering repeat business
  • Deliver engaging presentations at trade shows, both on our property and in the field, to highlight the unique advantages of Huttopia
  • Build strong networks and partnerships with key third-party organizations to generate quality leads for group bookings
  • Create exceptional experiences for potential clients during site visits, showcasing our outstanding amenities and services
  • Foster internal awareness of group activities among staff members and facilitate efficient purchasing, scheduling, and staffing by timely sharing relevant information with other property departments
  • Collaborate with our head office team to establish and maintain relationships with local Chamber of Commerce and Convention/Visitors Bureau.
  • Ensure events are set up and executed successfully
  • Keep the camp team informed about group activities to facilitate efficient purchasing, scheduling, and staffing across property departments
  • Deliver exceptional service for all food and beverage programs, adhering to Huttopia's policies and staying familiar with food menus and prices
  • Collaborate with the General Managers on-site and the group sales team at the head office to manage relationships with third-party caterers and event companies
  • Supervise the breakdown and clean-up of all assigned functions, ensuring smooth and efficient execution
  • Assist with audio/visual set-up when needed
  • Might be asked to help with the coordination of a large event at our other California properties
As you will be part of the Huttopia Paradise Springs’ service team, in addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions during the Huttopia operating season
  • Attend important meetings, including divisional and staff meetings
  • Keep the premises clean to maintain health and safety standards
  • Step in to perform any supervised position when needed
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by management (assisting at the Bistro, reception, activities, housekeeping departments)

Your profile

·       At least 1 year of prior experience as a hotel sales manager/coordinator or conference service manager
·       Prior experience in sales is desirable
·       Prior experience in a hotel call center or front desk is desirable
·       Good knowledge of the area and the local business landscape
·       Must have access to a vehicle and possess a driving license
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess: 
·       Outgoing, communicative, a great sales mindset and excellent customer service 
·       A track record of developing long-term sales relationships
·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·       Effective sales presentation skills
·       Team-player, happy to help with different departments when needed
·       Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
·       Knowledge and experience using the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
·       Availability to work weekends and evenings when needed

Your future at Huttopia

Huttopia values the growth of its employees! After one season, you may take on responsibilities at one of the sites: Department Manager or even Site Director, depending on your preferences and profile.

 Salary and Benefits: 
Full Time - Hourly position $20/h + Commission based on sales performance
3 weeks PTO + 5 paid holidays
