Your missions

Maintenance and Repair of Facilities: Ensure regular maintenance of glamping infrastructures, including tents, cabins, restrooms, swimming pool, recreational equipment, maintenance tools, golf carts and common areas to keep them in good working condition.
 
Management of Technical Equipment: Monitor and maintain technical systems such as electricity, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems. Repair or replace faulty equipment to prevent breakdowns.
 
Safety: Ensure all facilities comply with current safety standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential risks and implement corrective measures.
 
Stock Management: Manage inventories of spare parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance. Ensure all necessary materials are available when required.
 
Coordination with External Providers: Oversee work performed by external contractors, such as specialized repair and maintenance companies, to ensure that tasks are completed according to the establishment's quality standards.
 
Green Space Management:  Maintain green spaces and gardens to provide a clean and welcoming environment for guests. This may include mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, and managing green waste.
 
Planning and Forecasting: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance plan to anticipate future needs and avoid unforeseen breakdowns. Establish a maintenance schedule of amenities and campground vehicles (golfcart) and track its progress.
 
Emergency Response: Be available to respond quickly to technical emergencies or unexpected issues to minimize disruptions for guests.
 
Communication: Work closely with other departments, including reception, management, and customer service, to ensure smooth communication and effective coordination. Train seasonal maintenance staff during high season.
 
Budget Management: Manage the budget allocated for maintenance and upkeep, ensuring expenses are controlled and costs are optimized.

Your profile

-         Versatile and adaptable.
-         Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
-         Valid driver license, with the ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
-         Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures (previous construction industry experience is an asset)
-         Good physical condition.
-         Comfortable working in a natural environment with weather fluctuations.
-         Customer-oriented.

Your future at Huttopia

Huttopia values the growth of its employees! After one season, you may take on responsibilities at one of the sites: Department Manager or even Site Director, depending on your preferences and profile.

Additional Information

-         Start date: as soon as possible.
-         Work schedule: Full-time permanent position
-         Salary: 22$/hour
Company health plan: Participation from the company to your health insurance, gradually increasing with years of service
