The Role
We're looking for a hands-on, motivated General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our site and help us continue to grow.
You'll oversee a team of up to 15 people during the high season, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, from guest experience and team management to site maintenance and business performance.
This is an operational leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the field, taking initiative, solving problems, and getting involved wherever needed. You'll have the autonomy to manage your site with an owner's mindset, while working alongside Huttopia's North American headquarters and wider international team.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading the team: Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and support employees across the different areas of the site.
- Managing daily operations: Oversee accommodations, reception, housekeeping, the pizza snack bar, and summer activities.
- Delivering great guest experiences: Maintain service standards, handle guest feedback, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Managing business performance: Monitor budgets, sales, expenses, inventory, and site performance.
- Maintaining the property: Oversee cleanliness, grounds, equipment, and compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Growing the business: Build local partnerships, promote the destination, and identify opportunities to improve sales and guest satisfaction.
- Working with the wider team: Implement company processes and collaborate with Huttopia's North American headquarters and other sites.
Your profile
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, brings energy to their work, and is ready to get stuck in.
- Previous management experience in a comparable hospitality establishment is required, such as a campground, resort, hotel, or lodge.
- You can oversee multiple operational areas while keeping both the team and the guest experience in mind.
- You're proactive, resourceful, and comfortable making decisions independently
- You enjoy working with people and know how to bring a team together.
- You're ready to lead by example and get involved in hands-on operational tasks when needed.
- You understand the realities of seasonal hospitality, including busy periods, changing priorities, and the need for flexibility.
- You're interested in joining a French company with an international culture and a collaborative approach.

Position Details
- Location: Huttopia Berkshires, Hancock, Massachusetts
- Start date: Late March to early April 2027
- Contract: Through the end of November 2027
- Potential for a year-round position: Depending on business needs and mutual interest
- Salary: $50,000 annual salary, negotiable depending on experience
- Housing: Free, private, fully equipped on-site accommodation provided for the duration of the contract
