Your missions
Looking for a hands-on management role in the great outdoors?
The Role
We're looking for a motivated Assistant General Manager to work closely with the General Manager and help lead the day-to-day operations of the site.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being involved in the action, supporting a team, solving problems, and making sure everything runs smoothly. You'll gain experience across multiple areas of outdoor hospitality while helping the site continue to grow.
During the high season, you'll help support a team of up to 15 people across the different areas of the site.
Your main responsibilities will include:
We're looking for a motivated Assistant General Manager to work closely with the General Manager and help lead the day-to-day operations of the site.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being involved in the action, supporting a team, solving problems, and making sure everything runs smoothly. You'll gain experience across multiple areas of outdoor hospitality while helping the site continue to grow.
During the high season, you'll help support a team of up to 15 people across the different areas of the site.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Daily operations: Help coordinate accommodations, reception, housekeeping, the pizza snack bar, and summer activities.
- Team management: Support recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and day-to-day supervision.
- Guest experience: Maintain service standards, respond to guest requests, and help resolve issues efficiently.
- Site upkeep: Monitor cleanliness, grounds, equipment, and maintenance needs.
- Operational leadership: Work closely with the General Manager and take responsibility for site operations when needed.
Your profile
We're looking for someone motivated, resourceful, and ready to take initiative.
- Previous experience in hospitality operations or team supervision is required. Experience in a campground, resort, hotel, or similar establishment is a strong asset.
- You're comfortable overseeing different operational areas and adapting to changing priorities.
- You're hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently when needed.
- You enjoy working with people and helping a team perform at its best.
- You're ready to lead by example and get involved in operational tasks.
- You understand the pace of seasonal hospitality and are comfortable working during busy periods.
- You're interested in developing your management skills and taking on greater responsibilities.
- You enjoy working in an international environment with a French company and a collaborative team culture.

Additional Information
Position Details
- Location: Huttopia Berkshires, Hancock MA OR Huttopia Southern Maine, Sand Pond, ME
- Start date: Late March to early April 2027
- Contract: Through the end of November 2027
- Potential for a year-round position: Depending on business needs and mutual interest
- Compensation: Open to discussion based on experience
- Housing: Free, private, fully equipped on-site accommodation provided for the duration of the contract
