Your missions
Purpose of the Position:
To assist a French company that builds and operates campgrounds (7 in North America) in building a new campground in Berkshire.
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks/Duties:
Install new accommodations:
- Install a deck and tent framing
- Decking
- Install canvas
- Install bathroom module
- Install woodstove
- Install smaller equipment
Follow plans and head of workshop instructions
Being motivated to learn our building processes
Your profile
You don't need any particular qualifications, just motivation, and be aware that this is a very manual job
- Confident with tools use (circular saw, drills, screwdriver, compressed-air tools, …)
- Being comfortable doing a manual job the whole day
- Handling heavy materials with other workers
- Understand plans and follow the rules
- Report problems or concerns to the manager
- Notions of electricity would be a plus
- Forklift certification would be a plus
Your future at Huttopia
Huttopia values the growth of its employees! After one season, you may take on responsibilities at one of the sites: Department Manager or even Site Director, depending on your preferences and profile.
Additional Information
Hour Requirements or Preference: 40 hours a week, non-exempt
Schedule: 8 am-12 pm / 12:30 pm-4:30 pm from Monday to Friday
